The Extra Point
During his junior and senior year at Riverview High School, Andrew interned at WSRQ Radio in Sarasota, Florida. During his time there he hosted his own weekly sports talk show, The Extra Point. In total, Andrew hosted a year’s worth of shows at WSRQ. Below are some samples so you can see his growth from his time in high school to his current play-by-play work at Florida Southern.
Former Milwaukee Brewers second baseman Scooter Gennett joins the show to talk about his expectations for his 2017 season. Scooter currently plays for the Cincinnati Reds and is one of just 18 MLB players to hit four home runs in a single game. Show recored February 11, 2017.
